A module is considered passed if the average of the courses in the module is above 4, meaning, if you got a 5 for a course, of course you could take the exam again, but if the module average is above 4, you can choose to not take the exam again (with the approval of the module head professor) because the module has been passed.

	Past student comment and recommendations [+/-] Nicole: I strongly recommend taking Energy Engineering I and II, Professor Morozyuk really does care about the wellbeing of the students and tries her best to help them. PSE is also very helpful in understanding process of columns, I recommend taking it. The lecture is extremely loosely structured, the project is affected by the ambiguous definitions. Make sure get the limitations in a print for everyone so the whole class is on the same page. Environmental Technology is a bit of work to read through, totally worth the credit though! Adam: Energy Engineering I is good and easy. Energy Engineering II is really good and easy. Environmental Technology doesn't have any lectures, but you have to study a lot for the exam. PSE provides a good intro into ASPEN software program, difficult to know what is expected in the course. It is a good course to take, but the project is difficult.

	Past student comment and recommendations [+/-] Nicole: People with control systems and linearization theory background would have much easier time to grasp Regelungstechnik, I highly suggest giving yourselves enough time (3 weeks?) to review and study before the exam. Human Factor is doable, just give yourself enough time to study nd know the categorization of different terms before the oral exam. Ronald: Try to take Regelungstechnik as soon as possible and before taking PAD and Prozessführung, because the material is going to be useful. These courses will give an introduction to control topics, but it's less comprehensible and will also take up a lot of studying time. Merve: I wouldn't recommend taking Sicherheitstechnik. The professor was not good and unfriendly the ??? about the Übung. Adam: Regelungstechnik requires sufficient German knowledge to be less difficult. Prozessführung is challenging. Sicherheitstechnik and Human Factor are boring.

	Past student comment and recommendations [+/-] Nicole: Highly recommend Refrigeration class. Merve: Fund. of Optimization has Übung using MatLab that isn't understandable for beginners. I recommand Refrigeration class. Adam: Fund. of Optimization has good lecture material, but the Übungen are difficult to understand.

	Past student comment and recommendations [+/-] Nicole: Highly recommend Umweltmanagement, it's not difficult. The exam is oral exam. Energy Economics is taught by a very very horrible lecturer and the material isn't very related to exam. Make sure you study the HW's very well for the exam. Intercultural Management is an easy credit course. Merve: Intercult. Managment is interesting and very easy. Integriertes Management only has 5 presentations, no exam and no HW (besides the presentations). Adam: Umweltmanagement has good Übung. Energy Economics is a good course with easy exam. I found the lecture interesting, but he certainly rembles a bit.

	Past student comment and recommendations [+/-] Nicole: Continue study German, even if you don't need to attend the basic course. A little German a day take you a very long way. Make sure you are familiar with TestDaF examination format before taking it. As for Fremdsprache bei der ZEMS, just make sure you know how the language course can be counted towards your credit, because it is tricky how PEESE approves the credits. Adam: The German language course is easy, but the exam is not so easy. Please prepare well. Get a language tandem to help you learn German. Ronald: Fremdsprache bei der ZEMS would not count as 8 units if you don't take both the I and II classes.

	Past student comment and recommendations [+/-] Nicole: According to students from previous year, Sicherheitstechnik is really doable, you just have to work on it. And when it comes to oral exam, Professor Steinbach is more easy going, although he goes into details. For the oral exam, you need to know detail of things.
